 SOLAR SYSTEM
The Solar System or the Family of the Sum comprises of the Sun, the Eight planets, their moons and other heavenly bodies like asteroids, meteors and comets.

Here is a short description of each :

The Sun     


The Sun is the nearest star to the earth. It is the largest and heaviest object in the Solar system. It is the provider of heat and light to the entire solar system. All the other objects in the solar system are together due to the strong gravitation of the sun.

The Planets 

Planets are huge bodies made up of rocks and metals or gases. All planets around the sun in elliptical orbits. Planets also rotate around on their axis. There are eight major planets in the solar system. These are: 

Mecury :


Mercury is the planet nearest to the sun. It is the hottest planet in the solar system.


Venus :



It is the second nearest planet to the sun. It is the second hottest planet in the solar system.

Earth :



It is the third nearest planet to the sun. It supports life because on this planet water, oxygen, trees, land easily found.

Mars :


It is the fourth  nearest planet to the sun. It doesn't supports life .

Jupiter:



It is the fifth  nearest planet to the sun. It is the largest planet in the solar system.


Saturn :


This is the only planet which rotates on its rings. 


Uranus :


This is the third coldest planet in the solar system.


Neptune :


It is the coldest and last planet in the solar system.


Moon :


It is the satellite of the earth. It is also called Moon.
