Vacancy positions for ARS Examination 2013 :
Number of vacancies : 506 (tentative)
Name of Examination : Agriculture Research Service Exam 2013
Eligibility for ARS Exam 2013 :
Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 21 years to 32 years as on 01/08/2013.
Educational Qualification : Candidates mus obtained Master's Degree in the concerned disciplines with Specialization completed on or before 16.03.2014.
Mode of Selection : Selection will be done on the basis of written examination followed by viva-voce.
ARS Examination Details : ARS exam will be held in 2 stages .
1. Preliminary-ARS Examination : 29th December, 2013 (10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon)
2. ARS-Main Examination : 16th March, 2014 (10.00 AM to 01.00 PM)
Pay Scale : Pay Band-III of Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + Grade pay of Rs.6,000/-.
Examination Fee :
1. General & OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 500/-.
2. SC/ST/PWD Candidates need to pay Rs. 20/-
How to Apply : Candidates seeking admission to the Examination must apply online only in the application formavailable on the website www.asrb.org.in or www.icar.org.inlatest by 03rd December,2013.
