Revenue board of Rajasthan Ajmer is responsible for collection, recruitment and implementation of revenue, employees in revenue department of state and policies thereof.  In continuation of same responsibility and function, Revenue board is inviting application for the post of Patwari to fill vacancies in 33 districts of Rajasthan.
Notification issued by revenue department of Rajasthan government invites application fromcandidates to appoint Patwari on 2271 vacant posts in different districts of Rajasthan. According to Land revenue rule 1957 of Rajasthan Government, only candidate who will be of good physical and mental health can be appointed on post of Patwari.
  
There is reservation for ex-servicemen (12.5%), sports person (2%), female candidates (30%), special backward category candidates (1%), and economically backward category candidates (14%) along with other reservations as per Government rules.
  
Recruited candidates will be on probation of two years on remuneration of Rs.6100/month after a training of 9 months. After successful completion of probation period, candidates will be appointed on pay scale of Rs.5200- 20200 with grade pay Rs. 1900. Pension scheme as per land revenue department of Rajasthan Government will be applicable to employees.
    
Age Limit for Patwari Post
  • Minimum age limit for unreserved candidates and reserved candidates is 18 years as on 1-1-2014. However candidates of unreserved category should not exceed maximum age of 30 years. Relaxation in maximum ageto reserved category candidates SC/ST/OBC (5 Years), Female candidates (5 Years) and female candidates of reserved category (10 years) is allowed as pernotification. Educational Qualification
  • Candidates need to have passing certificate of 10+2 or senior secondary school examination qualification to apply for the Post of Patwari. Candidates need to have knowledge of Hindi and Rajasthani Culture. Also these candidates need to have character certificate from their school or college.

Selection Process :
Candidates for the post of Patwari in Rajasthan Revenue department will be recruited on basis of written examination. The examination will be of 300 marks consisting of 150 objective type questions. Examination will be of 3 hours. Negative marks will be awarded for each wrong answer. Examination will be held on same date in all 33 districts for which these vacancies are created by revenue board of Rajasthan. Applicants will be allotted center in same district from where they applied for Patwari post.
Only online application will be accepted. Candidates need to fill application online or through e-kiosk or using services of Common service center. No application other than online mode will be accepted. Candidates required to apply at respective district office in which he/she wants to get appointment after selection. Age Limit
