The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA's) will be conduct Exam for the Recruitment of 750Assistant Central Intelligence Officers (ACIO's) in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Department. The Candidates who will apply for IB ACIO 2014 Exam must have to study according to the New Pattern syllabus for better performance in the exam and get Good Score.
The written examination for IB ACIO Post contains two papers :
1. Paper I (Objective type) 
2.  Paper-II (Descriptive type on English language only).

Scheme Of Examination of IB ACIO : The written examination for the post of ACIOII/Exe contains two papers namely Paper I (Objective type) and Paper-II (Descriptive type )
Syllabus of IB ACIO Paper I : (Objective type)
1. General Awareness/General Knowledge
2. Reasoning
3. Comprehension
4. Mathematical Ability
Syllabus of IB ACIO Paper II : (Descriptive type on English language only)
1. Knowledge of English Writing Skill
2. Analytical Capability
Time Duration of IB ACIO Exam : 01 hour and 40 minutes.
Mode of Selection : Based on the performance of the candidates in written test (Paper-I & II) and Interview, they will be selected subject to the condition of successful completion of their Character and Antecedent verification and thereafter medical examination
Pay scale : Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200 (PB-2) (Plus admissible Central Government allowances).
