Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit : Candidates should not be crossed age of 25 yrs as on 31.08.2013. Age Relaxation will be applicable as per govt rules.
Educational Qualification : Candidates must be possess Three year Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation disciplines issued by a State Board of Technical Education with 60% marks or equivalent qualification with flair for Draftsmanship and proficiency in CAD.
Application Fee :
1. General/OBC Candidates Need to Pay Rs. 100/-
2. SC/ST/PWD Candidates are need not pay application fee.
Period of training & Stipend : The period of training will be two years. The Ship Draftsman Trainees will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.6750/-pm during the first year of training, Rs. 7150/-pm during the second year and compensation for extra hours of work limited to Rs.4200/- pm. No other payment will be applicable.
