Western Railway Recruitment Board has issued recruitment notification for filling 560 vacancies of Erstwhile Group Dposts in specified categories of Northern Railway under various departments under Ex Servicemen Quota. Eligibility Criteria :

Age Limit : Candidates age should be below 33 yrs + Extent of military + 3 years . For determining age limit , cut off date would be 01-07-2013. 

Educational Qualification : Ex-Servicemen who have retired after putting in 15 years of service and have passed Army Class-I Certificate or equivalent, or matric. The eligibility of the retired Defence personnel to the status of Ex SM is governed by the definition as laid down by Department of Personnel and Training.

Selection process : Selection process consists of Medical Fitness.

Educational Qualification : Candidates should be 10+2 passed with min 60% marks from any recognized board .
Physical Standard :

Hieght : Minimum height 157 cms

Chest : Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms

Weight : Proportionate to height and age +_10% acceptable

Hearing : normal

Visual Standards : 6/6 (Better Eye) and 6/9(Worse Eye)
Selection Process : Candidates are required to qualify Written test /Interview for getting selection for navik post. Written test will be conducted at Bhopal ,Kochi, Mumbai , Nagpur and New Mangalore.
