State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab invites online applications for appearing in Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET 2014). Punjab TET 2014 Examination will be held for appointing the candidates on Teacher post in Primary Stage(Class I-V) and Elementary Stage (Class VI-VIII). Interested Candidates can fill Online application form of PSTET 2014 before 10th December, 2013.

Eligibility Criteria for PSTET 2014 : 
Educational Qualification : 
1. Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) : Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education .
2. Qualification for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

 PSTET 2014 Exam pattern : Punjab TET 2014 will be conducted in 2 stages i.e. Paper I & Paper II .
1. Paper I will be held for candidates who want to become teachers of class I - V .
2. Paper II will be held for Candidates who want to become teachers of class VI - VIII. 
Selection Process : Selection shall be made on the basis of Written examination.
How to Apply : Interested Candidates shall apply online for the PSTET-I or PSTET-II or both at the PSTET main website www.tetpunjab.com .After applying online , candidates have to dispatched the confirmation page in an Envelope of Size 12 x 9 and paste address slip on the envelope super scribing APPLICATION FOR PSTET at Post Box No.1828,Post Office Sector 62, Mohali (Punjab) PIN 160062 through ordinary post only.
